It is important that sensible clothes and footwear are worn to ensure the correct protection for the work involved and the weather for the time of the year.

At ALL Times sensible footwear is required.  Boots that protect the whole foot from the land, the weather and the horses are a must.  For best protection we recommend boots with steel toe cap and midsole.

Legs should be fully covered with suitable trousers.  Shorts and skirts are NOT acceptable even in hot weather.

In hot weather we recommend a cold drink, sun cap and sun cream.

In wet weather we recommend waterproof trousers and coat.

In cold weather we recommend layering your clothing; this will enable you to adjust your temperature in accordance with the work and the cold weather.

Please bring a packed lunch & drink for your dinner which ½ an hour will be allocated.
