A small print and design business.
Design Savvy offers opportunities to adults with a learning disability to learn how to design and develop a product to take to the market place and sell.
Learning about design, advertising and marketing in order to make a profit to put into future projects.
Launched in 2020, Design Savvy is based at Eyres Monsell Community Centre, and provides transferable life and work skills, all within a safe setting.
About Us
Some of the products we have designed and printed are clothing, mugs, Slate, coasters, keyrings, glass, and backpacks.
We have learnt how to create posters and market our products for sale.
We have taken out products to local markets to promote and sell.
We see each project through from conception to production and selling giving the trainees a sense of ownership and accomplishment.
As art and crafting have been shown to help with relaxation, anxiety and mental wellbeing; we provide an environment where self-esteem and confidence can thrive.
