Job Mentor Peppercorn Catering
Part Time

Do you have a passion for baking and helping people to reach their full potential?

Forever Savvy is currently seeking an individual for our Job Mentor role based at Peppercorns in Abbey Park Leicester.

In this part-time role, your job role will be working with adults with moderate to severe learning difficulties, providing them with support in a catering environment.

To be a successful in this role you will need to be:

 

  • Passionate about helping others.

  • Able to work well separately and as part of a team.

  • Be a role model for someone with a Learning difficulty.

  • Motivate and engage to allow them to develop self-confidence and problem-solving skills in the working environment.

  • Be comfortable working outside in all weathers.

  • Support individuals with learning difficulties in their work placements.

  • Have some experience of baking.

  • Have some IT skills and be able to use Microsoft Office.

Although no previous experience is needed in working in the social care sector, you do need to be knowledgeable in baking and be confident in guiding the work of others safely and inspirationally.

The current role is 10 hours over 2 days (Tuesday and Thursday) the rate of pay is £11.50 per hour. You may also be required to transport clients between their home and the place of work with your own car. Business insurance will be required, and mileage will be paid.

Job Mentor
Horse Savvy
Part Time

Are you thinking about a career in adult social care where you can help people to reach their full potential?

Forever Savvy is currently seeking an individual for a Job Mentor to work at our Horse Savvy project Cottage Lane, Broughton Astley.

In this part-time position, you will be responsible for assisting adults who have moderate to severe learning difficulties in an outdoor equestrian setting throughout the year.

To be a successful in this role you will need to be:

  • Passionate about helping others.

  • Able to work well separately and, as part of a team.

  • Be a role model for someone with a Learning difficulty.

  • Motivate and engage to allow them to develop self-confidence and problem-solving skills in the working environment.

  • Support individuals with learning difficulties in their work placements.

  • Be comfortable working with a variety of animals including poultry, guinea pigs and horses in an outdoors setting.

  • Enjoy working outside in all weathers.

  • Have IT skills and be able to use Microsoft Office.

Although no previous experience is needed in working in the social care sector, we are looking for an individual who is confident in guiding others to work safely and inspirationally.

The current role is 16 hours over 3 days (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) from 9.30am to 3.00pm. and the rate of pay is £11.50 per hour. You may also be required to transport clients between their home and the place of work with your own car. Business insurance will be required, and mileage will be paid.
